Ever wanted to get involved with the theatre but not perform? Well here's your opportunity.
The Players Theatre are looking for volunteers aged 18 years and over to help with their busy Box office, Bar and Front of House.
As The Players Theatre is becoming more popular as a venue, many other professional artists and companies are now booking their shows in with us. This means we are getting busier and to help us maintain the smooth running of all events performing at our Theatre we are looking to recruit volunteers to help.
Our Box Office, requires people with the ability to use a computer. Full training will be given on how it all works. You would need to be at the Theatre prior to a performance, either matinee or evening shows and cover during intervals.
Help is also required for our busy Bar, again full training given so you don't to have worked in a bar before - cover prior to show and intervals and after show cover required.
Finally we are looking for friendly people to meet and greet our audiences prior to and during the evenings of a show. Again, full training will be given.
The Players Theatre has some great shows programmed in for 2022 for all the family. This would be a great opportunity to meet new people and to get involved with a positive local project.
