Founded in 1967 and with many award-winning productions to their name, The Lowestoft Players are one of East Anglia's premier amateur theatre groups.

Now, for over 50 years the society has been performing pantomimes, musicals, plays and revues to packed audiences from across the region.

Our home at the 'Players Theatre'

The Players home is at the 'Players Theatre', located in the centre of town, just around the corner from the Marina Theatre. Having been based at their previous Headquarters in Stradbroke Road, Pakefield, for over 33 years

Following numerous hours of hard work from a very supportive membership, the former Seamans Mission has been converted into a spectacular new home - the Players Theatre, providing the award winning society with an exciting future.

Whilst retaining its history, this magnificent building has been transformed into a versatile two hundred seater performing space, along with two rehearsal studios, a green room, a stage props store along with catering facilities and a licensed bar. The Theatre Space is available to hire for all kinds of events, functions and performances.
