Make a Donation

The Lowestoft Players are a self-funded organisation as well as a registered charity. We rely on income from ticket and programme sales to cover the costs of staging productions and some secondary income generated via membership, advertising, sponsorship and fundraising events to help cover ongoing running costs.

Donations help to directly cover our non-show related operational costs, such as running costs of our theatre, insurance and the cost of storage of costumes and props.

If you feel you are able to make a donation of any amount to The Lowestoft Players, please kindly contact us directly and we will give you all of the information you need.

The Players Theatre Booking Fee

The Lowestoft Players are proud to have transformed our HQ over the last ten years into 'The Players Theatre', our very own 200 seater multi-purpose venue in the heart of Lowestoft Town Centre. The transformation would not have been possible without much fundraising from within our society and our local community as well as several grants.

In 2019 our now thirty year old heating system was decommissioned, due to parts no longer being serviceable. The Lowestoft Players are now faced with the huge task of fundraising and then installing a new heating/cooling system which will be fit for purpose for many years to come.

To help us with the large up-front cost of this we have included a mandatory £1.00 charge for every ticket we sell for a show at 'The Players Theatre'. We are hoping that through our supporters, we will be able to achieve our aim of being able to fund some of the significant costs for the new system up-front.
