Founded in 1967 and with many award-winning productions to their name, The Lowestoft Players are one of East Anglia's premier amateur theatre groups.
For over 40 years the society has been performing pantomimes, musicals, plays, and revues to packed audiences from across the region.
This exciting, innovative and talented theatre group are the winners of numerous NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) Awards: Best Pantomime, Best Musical, Best Poster and Best Programme.
The Lowestoft Players are now entering an exciting new phase as they prepare to move into their very own rehearsal studios and head quarters at The Bethel, a former fisherman's church, in the centre of Lowestoft.
Whilst retaining its history, this magnificent building will be transformed into a brand new thriving theatrical home for this very active Society. The Bethel will house two rehearsal studios, a green room, an extensive wardrobe department, a stage props store and a kitchen.
