Welcome to the Lowestoft Players

Founded in 1967 and with many award-winning productions to their name, The Lowestoft Players are one of East Anglia's premier amateur theatre groups.

For over 40 years the society has been performing pantomimes, musicals, plays, and revues to packed audiences from across the region.

Fiddler on the Roof was a clear favourite with the audience

This exciting, innovative and talented theatre group are the winners of numerous NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) Awards: Best Pantomime, Best Musical, Best Poster and Best Programme.

The Lowestoft Players @ The Bethel

Having been based at their previous Headquaters in Stradbroke Road, Pakefield, for the past 33 years, The Players have finally moved in and settled into their new HQ at The Bethel.

Through many hard hours work from a very supportive membership, the former Seamans Mission has been converted into a spectacular new home and rehearsal studio, that is assured to provide the award winning society with an exciting future.

Whilst retaining its history, this magnificent building has been transformed into a brand new thriving theatrical home for this very active Society. The Bethel now houses two rehearsal studios, a green room, an extensive wardrobe department, a stage props store and a kitchen.
