

Founded in 1967 and with many award-winning productions to their name, The Lowestoft Players are one of East Anglia's premier amateur theatre groups.
For over 45 years the society has been performing pantomimes, musicals, plays, and revues to packed audiences from across the region.

National Award-Winning
This exciting, innovative and talented theatre group are the winners of numerous NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) Awards: Best Pantomime, Best Musical, Best Production , Best Poster Design and Best Programme Design.
Having been based at their previous Headquarters in Stradbroke Road, Pakefield, for over 33 years, The Players now have a new home at THE BETHEL , located in the centre of town, just around the corner from the Marina Theatre.
Through numerous hours of hard work from a very supportive membership, the former Seamans Mission has been converted into a spectacular new home and rehearsal studio, that provides the award winning society with an exciting future.

Whilst retaining its history, this magnificent building has been transformed into two rehearsal studios, a green room, an extensive wardrobe department, a stage props store along with catering facilities.
